Our lab explores sex differences in drug-induced liver diseases, particularly studying the roles of cytokines, CD4+T cells, B cells, and FoxP3+T cells in hepatitis triggered by a cytochrome P450 2E1 epitope, utilizing an in vivo mouse model. Additionally, the lab delves into metabolic liver diseases, examining hormonal factors associated with fatty acid biosynthesis, uptake, and distribution through a multidisciplinary approach involving immunological, metabolic, and genetic techniques.
